Fabric
I try to live each day
In such a way
That when tomorrow makes today a yesterday
I will have woven into the fabric of my life
Some gay design,
Some patch of color,
Bright, to please the eye.
So that, in the graying years to come,
When all the quick responsive senses dull,
I may look back across the patterns of my past
And, in my memory,
Live the joys and pains
Of all my yesterdays.

This was yesterday’s poem, sorry for the late post – busy, busy, day!
This was shared by Jenny in April 2013.
I read this and thought “O’ Jenny would like this one”, then I got to the end……guess who shared it a few years ago 🙂
I bet she still likes it 😉
I have to share this with my mom, she’s a quilter. Lovely.
Aack, why did my comment get that yukky-face icon lol?!
LOL I’m guessing you didn’t choose an icon and it assigned one randomly …. 🙂
